Southeast Asia Trip

Hey guys, please be praying for our mission trip this week. 8 or so team members left Thursday to go to Nepal and Thailand to visit connections and families of our disciples. The goal is to raise up and commission leaders there to launch movements in those nations.

Our Nepali disciple Ashika hopes to join them in a couple days, but she’s still waiting on her visa. Please pray that everything would align for her to go, as she can be a powerful translator and teacher there.
Most of the team will return around March 23rd.

Moving On

Just a quick update on some of the Salem Oaks disciples.

God has moving some of the Karenni disciples to other cities and states recently.
Mi Meh and her family moved to Arizona to move in with other family.
Ku Mo, who is a girl we were working with at one time that recently started to become increasingly interested in following Christ, moved to Arkansas.
Neh Meh, Pleh Meh, and their mom, Kho's family, are moving to Lufkin, Texas within the following week.

Please be in prayer for these young ladies and their mothers.
Pray God's work would continue in these new places.
Pray God would surround these ladies with God fearing sisters in Christ to continue to be built-up, encouraged, and team up for God's purposes in those places.

Thanks!

Ministry Update

An update on Srijana and Mr. Om's family.

Lacey has continued to invest time into this family and we've seen Jesus move! Here are some of the ways they have experienced the supernatural power of Christ:
At the end of last year Lacey got pray for healing for Srijana's son and Jesus healed him the next day.
At the end of January when Srijana was within a week away of her due date for her second child, Julia and Lacey prayed that her cold would be gone for birth and that the birth would be without complications. God answered both of these prayers.
About two weeks ago Srijana's cheek and gums were swollen and Elizabeth and Lacey prayed for healing. Again Jesus showed his compassion and mercy on this woman and healed her.

Last Thursday Sanjay got to share with Mr. Om the creation to Christ story.  He said that he would have to talk to his son about it. While those two, Richie and Jerome(team members), and some Rice University students were out in the living room I (Lacey) got to talk to Srijana separately. She asked why we all want to share Jesus with them and I got to speak truth saying we understand that Jesus is God, that He's the only way to the Father. We have that living water and we understand that he is the only one who satifies our thirsty hearts(I shared John 4 with her). We know how much he loves us and loves you. And we love you and want you to know Jesus wants to give that same gift to you. I asked her what she's thinking about everything and she replied, "Yes, I believe that because my son is sick and you pray and he is healed. And my birth is normal and you pray for that. And my cheek has pain and you pray and it's healed." I told her Jesus did that because He loves you and I asked her if she wanted to know more about Jesus and she said, "No, I am good."

Srijana recognizes that when I pray for her, God answers but she's not willing to give up tradition.
Please continue to pray for her and this family!
